Pre-K Through
2nd Grade (Beginner)
For our younger students our primary focus is developing the foundational mental skills they’ll need to be effective students in karate and elsewhere (“learning how to learn”) while introducing them to basic karate techniques and exercises. In light of the limitations of their ages, fun activities will be an essential part of each class to help keep them engaged.
For Spring ’26, we will not be taking on new students. This class is only available to current yellow belts.
Classes are held Mon & Wed from 2:05-3:05, Jan 5-May 7
Particular emphasis is placed on the following:

- Following directions
- Working in a group
Physical Development
- Agility
- Balance
- Coordination
Pre-K Through
2nd Grade (Advanced)
For our younger returning students who have demonstrated the skill and maturity required to earn their blue belt or above, the advanced class builds on the foundation laid in the beginner class by introducing students to advanced techniques and kata while maintaining the same balance of fun and learning.
Classes are held Tue & Thur from 2:05-3:05, Jan 6-May 8

3rd Through
5th Grade (all)
Our older students will receive a comprehensive, age-appropriate education in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu (karate) alongside exercises and drills designed to increase their physical fitness levels to levels suitable for proper self-defense and excellence in sports and athletics.
Classes are held Tue & Thur from 2:45-3:45, Jan 6-May 8
